The Worship Team
The worship team is comprised of those people who have the desire to sing or play instruments for the leading of the church in the weekly worship service and special worship services. There is an audition required for participation in this group. This group rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7pm. If you are interested in auditioning for the worship team, please fill out this online form.
The Tech Team
The tech team is responsible for running the audio/visual , sound equipment and stage management on Sunday mornings and during special occasions.
The Worship Choir
The Worship Choir is composed of those people, ages 13 and older, who have a desire to use their voice in ministering to the CGEFC congregation. The choir will rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7pm and will participate in both worship services on Sunday mornings, once per month, during the special ministry time, and on special occasions. The choir meets September through May. See the current newsletter.
Praise Kids
Praise Kids are comprised of children, ages 6 – 12, who wish to participate in singing as a ministry to the congregation. The Praise Kids are currently meeting on Wednesday evenings at 5:45pm in preparation for the Christmas Musical.
The Brass Ensemble
The Brass Ensemble performs periodically as a blessing to the congregation and on special occasions. This ensemble is open to those who have talent in playing brass instruments (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Baritone/Euphonium, Tuba). This ensemble will rehearse as needed for special performances.
The Kerygma Theatrical Players
The Kerygma Theatrical Players is the CGEFC drama ministry. This group is open to all who feel God moving them to present the Gospel through the dramatic arts. The Kerygma Players will occasionally perform on Sunday mornings and on special occasions. Rehearsals will be on an as needed basis.
The David Team
The David Team is a group of people who desire to minister to shut-ins through helping to provide a mini worship service in their homes. This group requires no rehearsal or preparation. It is strictly on an on-call basis.
