Ministry Highlights

SMALL GROUPS SIGN-UP—Sign up for Adult Small Groups will begin on Sunday, September 5.  Stop by the tables and check out the Small Groups.  Sign up will be available for the first three Sundays in September.  If you have any questions, please contact Brett Anderson at brett.brandnew@gmail.com.

PRECEPTS BIBLE STUDY—Our fall Precepts Bible Study will be starting up on Tuesday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. here at the church.  If you are interested in attending, please contact David Marvel at  (815) 477-2148.  There is a cost of $25.00 for the workbook.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY—Ladies, the fall Women’s Bible Study will begin on Thursday, September 23.  We will be going through “Breaking Free” with Beth Moore.  The cost for the book is $15.00.  If you are interested in attending, please sign up on the back of the ConNEXTions card or register online at our church website.  There is a morning study which meets at the church and an evening study which meets at the home of Becky Erickson, 438 Wentworth Circle, Cary.  Childcare is available for the morning study only. 

 WORSHIP CHOIR—Do you enjoy singing?  Would you like to sing in an organized, non-threatening and fun ensemble to help lead the church in worship?  The Worship Choir begins rehearsals on Wednesday, September 29 here at the church at 7:00 p.m..  No audition is required—just a willing heart and voice for ages 13 and up.

 CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL—Our Fall Sunday School session begins on Sunday, September 12 at 9:30 a.m. 

 PRAISE KIDS—The Kick-Off Party for kids in first through sixth grades, is Wednesday, Sept 29, 2010, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall!  Join us for another great year of fellowship and music that honors God, ministers to others, and is just a lot of FUN!!!  More information will be coming.

 AWANA—It’s time to begin pre-registration for AWANA which will begin on Wednesday, September 22 with the AWANA Fun Fair at 7:00 p.m.  The first regular club night will be on Wednesday, September 29.  You can go to the church website to register online. If you are interested in helping out as a leader in AWANA or you have questions, please contact our AWANA Commander, Chris Lucchese at (847) 516-4089.
